- What is the Ipsos i-Say Online Panel?
- The Ipsos i-Say Online Panel is a panel of Canadians from all over the country who participate in surveys. The Ipsos i-Say Online Panel is managed by Ipsos Reid, a division of the Ipsos Group. Ipsos Reid is part of the international market research company called Ipsos, one of the largest research firms in the world. Our clients want to know what you think about their products and services and how they can make them better. They also want to know your ideas on current events and social issues.
- How do I become an Ipsos i-Say Online Panel member?
- To become an Ipsos i-Say Online Panel member, you need to fill out our membership survey. This survey asks questions about you and the things you like to do. We use the information to determine which future surveys you might want to participate in. Click here to become a member of the Ipsos i-Say Online Panel.
- Does it cost anything to become an Ipsos i-Say Online Panel member?
- Absolutely not. Membership is completely free. Even if you receive a product to test at home and return to us after completing a survey, you will not be charged for the product nor for the shipping.
- What are the benefits of becoming an Ipsos i-Say Online Panel member?
- As a panel member, you influence political, social and consumer decision makers
with the thoughts and opinions you provide on surveys.
- You’ll earn reward points for the surveys you take – points can be redeemed for cash and gift cards.
- You get a chance to win $5000 cash just for joining. Plus members get chances to win many other great prizes like vacation packages or even a brand new car.

Personal Information and Confidentiality
- Why do you need to know my income?
- Information such as name, age, and income are factors we use to select participants for our surveys. Without them, we are not able to balance our results according to Statistics Canada data and have statistically accurate survey results. Income is part of the demographic information we require to ensure we have a panel representative of the Canadian population.
- Will you sell any of my information?
- No! We will never give your personal information to anyone except as necessary with our trusted reward partners to enable them to provide member benefits. These third parties will not share your information with anyone else and will use it only to provide the rewards you have earned. Our clients never receive your personal information and the information you provide is only used for legitimate research purposes, and to determine who is best suited for a survey.

Our surveys
- How will you contact me? How will I know if I have a survey to complete?
- For surveys, we will contact you mostly by e-mail, but sometimes by telephone or mail. The e-mail invitation will provide the survey link (URL).
- Make sure that panel@i-say.com is added to your address book or to your safe list. This way, any survey invitations we send you will go directly to your inbox, and not to the junk list. Also make sure that we have your current email address. To provide a new email address, please go to the Change of Info page.
- If we need to send you a check or merchandise, we will use the mailing information you provided us. We also send newsletters by e-mail to keep you informed of Ipsos i-Say Online Panel views.
- What kind of rewards do you offer for completing your surveys?
- We offer two types of rewards for taking surveys;
- i-Say Reward Points - the more surveys you take, the more points you earn. Information about the number of points offered for each survey is provided in the survey introduction. Points can be redeemed for cash and gift cards.
- Play our Poll Predictor Game – You are invited to play each time you complete a survey. Guess the percentage to win draw chances that you can put towards great prizes like Laptops, Spa Retreats, HD TV's and more. You choose the answer, you decide the prizes! Members may also be entered into additional i-Say contests and sweepstakes. Please visit the Rewards Page for further details.
- Some surveys may offer additional rewards. The type of reward will be mentioned either in your survey invitation or the survey introduction or both.
