The 411 on cell phones! With the steady rise of newer and more sophisticated technology, we were curious how important your cell phone is to you. Do you prefer neat and newer models, or a standard one that just 'does the job'? We recently carried out a survey with a large group of both male and female Canadians a survey asking you what you look for in a cell phone. More than 25% of those 18-34 feel that the “cool” factor of a cell phone is important, compared to only 11% of those aged 35-65+.

When considering upgrading their phone, new style influences the decision of younger people compared to older people (31% vs. 18%)

More than 23% of those aged 18-34 consider themselves to be owners with sleek, small, colour coordinated cell phones. Conversely, 55% of those 35-65+ claim that function trumps fashion and their cell phones are used to send and receive calls only.
- When planning for a night out, 48% of females consider a cell phone essential, compared to only 33% of males.
