Where is everybody?!
Uncle John phones his brother Bobs house. His 4-year-old nephew, Tommy, answers. The following conversation ensues:

Uncle John: "Hi, Tommy. This is Uncle John. Let me talk to your Dad."
Tommy: "No. He can't come to the phone. He busy."
Uncle John: "Ok, well let me talk to your Mom, then."
Tommy: "No. She can't come to the phone. She busy."
Uncle John, worried, asks: "Well, is there anyone else there?"
Tommy: "Yeah."
Uncle John: "Who?"
Tommy answers: "The policeman is here."
Uncle John: "Let me talk to the policeman."
Tommy: "He can't come to the phone. He busy."
Uncle John, now really worried, asks: "I've got to find out what's going on! Is there anyone else there that I can talk to?"
Tommy: "Ya, the firemans is here."
Uncle John, now scared, asks: "Well let me talk to one of them!"
Tommy: "They can't come to the phone. They busy."
Uncle John says, exasperated: "What's everyone doing, that they're so busy they can't come to the phone?"
Tommy answers, snickering: "They lookin' for me."
