Household Tips

• To remove splinters from your skin, pour a drop of glue over the splinter, let it dry, then just peel the dried glue off the skin. The splinter sticks to the dried glue.

• Say goodbye to weeds in your garden by overlapping layers of old, wet newspaper around the plants. The weeds will get through some gardening plastic they will not get through wet newspapers.

• To clean dirty, grimy clothes or fabric, add an equal amount of automatic dishwasher detergent along with your regular laundry detergent. You will be amazed!
