Best Gaming Website Award from Internetworld Magazine Goes to Mr. Green

Internetworld Magazine has awarded the Best Gaming Site (2011) title to Mr. Green for the 3rd time since it was launched in 2008. The Swedish online gaming site has been featured on the list of Sweden’s 100 top internet sites for four consecutive years. Mr. Green was featured on the EGR Power50 list that ranks the most influential online gaming companies world over in 2011.

New Developments for Mr. Green

The CEO of Mr. Green, Mikael Pawlo, said that winning this distinguished prize, once again, is recognition of the company’s devotion to user interface, transparency and design. He said that the award was particularly encouraging as the company had recently launched an all-new version of the site.

Internetworld has held an annual challenge since 1997 and the event rates the top 100 sites in Sweden. The awards ceremony was held in Stockholm, where the honor of Best Gaming Site (2011) was presented to Mr. Green.

According to Pawlo, Mr. Green has been working towards improving its products and to advance their gaming technology. He said that the company is trying to understand forms of gaming that are dissimilar to the types of real money gambling that Mr. Green offers its customers. The company has been inspired by online gaming sites like Dice, Foursquare and Zynga and is trying to adopt the best features possible into their own gaming scene. Pawlo said that at Mr. Green, a website is considered much like a Shark – it must move and develop or it will die.

The company is considered a unique entity in the online gaming industry. This is because it is the only operator that offers its customers the option of playing games from four different casino software providers. These vendors are: Net Entertainment, Betsoft Gaming, Nyx Interactive and IGT. Players are allowed to switch between the different vendors without having to exchange any money or chips.
